1/9/2024 Update
Below is the procedures manual for the Nampa location of Chrome Comb Barbershop (AFX Manual coming soon). I/We ask that each step be completed for the haircut to be considered commissionable. Please note, ALL CUTS INCLUDE A WASH/DRY WITH HOT TOWEL AND STRAIGHT-RAZOR NECK SHAVE. These are not barber optional services. This type of attention to detail is part of offering a high-end barber experience. Without them, we are nothing more than an overpriced shop competing with the 10 (very competent) shops located near by, all looking to take our business.
Starting Monday, January 15th, I will be doing quality checks to ensure our customers are getting the best experience possible.
If you need help, please contact Cody or Ryan.

Haircut (AKA The Wig Chop)
We believe every haircut, classic to custom, should include a wash, style, and hot/cold towel.
Procedure:
Procedure:
- Greet client.
- Drape client.
- Perform consultation. Here is where we get details about the client’s needs for the haircut. Questions should relate to:
- How they style their haircut,
- When was their last haircut,
- What they like/didn’t like about their last haircut and/or hair in general,
- Ask questions, this is where we gather information about the client, be patient and listen.
- Seek clarity. Just because a customer verbalizes wanting a 'High and Tight', doesn't always mean that is what he/she wants. In their mind, a 'High and Tight' could be closer to a 'Mid-Fade.'
- How they style their haircut,
- Perform the haircut, cross-check and comb into the desired style.
- Finish the haircut by making sure all blending and edges are clean.
- Periodically clean access hair off the client, also at the end of the service.
- Shave the neck.
- Wash, condition and dry hair wash.
- Style hair if desired, discuss style needs. This will determine the type of product used.
- Massage neck and shoulders.
